We took the extra firm single-metal chassis of Overture and pushed it to the next level by creating it from Titanium! It gained a bit more heft, but the durability is now unmatched, the audio circuit runs with enhanced shielding and the unique ageing of the titanium shell provides a beautiful distinctive look. Making XM5 Titanium into one of the most premium feeling Portable Players on the market.
Low-Impedance Optimized Amplifier
Following the user feedback on the original XM5, the new Titanium version replaced the previous TPA6120A2 with a pair of more suitable AD8397 amplifiers. This optimized amplifier now runs at much lower output impedance, just 0.5Ω on 3.5mm and 0.8Ω on 4.4mm outputs. All in exchange for just slightly reduced output power.
While output impedance value might not be important for many headphones and earphones on the market, certain High-End In-Ear monitors, featuring complex crossovers and non-linear impedance curves, will significantly benefit from this adjustment. Making XM5 Titanium the ideal Audio source in the High-End Portable market.
Limited Edition Release
XM5 Titanium will be available as limited release only, with the standard XM5 continuing its production and both versions being sold alongside each other. Please check the list of our official distributors / dealers and inquire with them directly for the availability of XM5 Titanium.
