Product Concept

NISHIKI is the culmination of Brise Audio's technology in earphone cables, developed to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary.

Since its founding in 2015, Brise Audio has continuously pursued cable development through extensive trial and error and the accumulation of proprietary technologies.
Marking this 10-year milestone, we not only consolidated our past experience but also deliberately explored untested methods and structures to venture into new sonic territories — this is the origin of the NISHIKI cable.

“Nishiki” refers to a luxurious fabric woven with gold and silver threads, traditionally regarded as a symbol of beauty, complexity, and masterful craftsmanship.
True to its name, this model intricately combines multiple metallic materials as if weaving them together, striving to achieve both acoustic excellence and aesthetic value.

The conductor structure is based on Brise Audio’s long-standing 7×7 strand configuration per core, and employs a 4-core braided QuadSpiral structure, totaling 196 strands.
Furthermore, each core contains hybrid strands made from a proprietary blend of copper and silver wires.

By drawing out the spatial transparency of silver and the depth and richness of copper in the low frequencies, we aimed to achieve a harmony and expansiveness in sound that cannot be realized with a single material alone.

Furthermore, all strands are finished with gold plating.
This allows the natural characteristics of the materials to shine through while suppressing excessive sharpness or peakiness, enabling smoother and more natural sound imaging.

In addition, by applying a polyurethane coating—based on Litz wire technology—to each individual strand, the cable prevents conductor oxidation and aging, while significantly contributing to the suppression of the skin effect and improved stability in the high-frequency range.

This series of processes—combining silver and copper in a hybrid structure, gold plating, and polyurethane coating—is being adopted for the first time in a Brise Audio product with NISHIKI.

The connectors feature a newly designed Brise Audio original plug made from a special copper alloy, developed to achieve both high sound quality and structural durability. This plug is based on different materials and design principles than previous Brise Audio products, delivering both exceptional transmission efficiency and contact stability at a high level.

Furthermore, the high-quality sound processing developed exclusively for NISHIKI makes generous use of a new material called “HCNT,” which is currently patent pending.
This material is an advanced evolution of conventional CNT (carbon nanotube) technology and delivers significant benefits in multiple aspects, including noise suppression, control of micro-vibrations, and enhancement of soundstage purity.

NISHIKI is not merely a commemorative model.
In every aspect—materials, structure, and sound processing—NISHIKI represents a fusion of Brise Audio’s accumulated expertise and the latest technological innovations. It is a product developed as a true “challenge” for our team, with the goal of elevating the potential of earphone re-cables to an even higher level.
