Special Limited Edition
Full Copper Chassis
Featuring a full copper alloy main chassis, CNC machined from a single piece of metal for totally rigid construction. With a rich red copper finish and a durable anti-oxidation protective layer to keep it looking pristine and simply stunning.
Delivering a new stunning look, with a much smoother feel than the basic aluminium version and a significantly denser impression when held in hand.
Refined Sound of Copper
Range of Tuning Improvements
While the core of the audio circuit remains the same as the original M8T, the M8T Cu features subtle tuning adjustments. Combined with the increased density and improved shielding of the copper chassis, the sound has been transformed from the original M8T.
- Warmer and richer sound, while preserving overall clarity
- Enhanced dynamics and improved treble transparency
- Reduced distortion with a darker background, allowing details to stand out even more
Flagship-Level DAC Circuit
2× AKM AK4499EX DACs with 2× AK4191
Most Intricate Sound Presentation
The M8T Cu features an independent dual configuration of flagship AKM DACs, each paired with its own ΔΣ (Delta-Sigma) modulator.
This one-to-one pairing helps eliminate clock signal distortion that can occur with simpler two-DAC, one-modulator designs, providing cleaner overall sound performance, especially when playing high-resolution audio files.
Dual JAN6418 Tubes
Dedicated Tube Output
The M8T Cu uses a pair of low-voltage, power-efficient JAN6418 tubes, suspended in a custom-designed anti-shock structure to eliminate microphonics and add extra character to the sound.
The tubes are rated for up to 5,000 hours. The device also features a range of settings designed to help preserve tube lifespan.
Trio of Output Modes
Transistor / Triode / Ultra-Linear
While the tubes are a unique feature of the M8T Cu, the audio circuit can also operate in pure transistor mode, fully avoiding the tube output.
With the addition of Triode and Ultra-Linear modes, the M8T Cu offers three distinctive sound profiles:
- Transistor — Dynamic and hard-hitting
- Triode — A bit of added warmth
- Ultra-Linear — Thick, smooth and relaxed
