FitEar DC is a hybrid custom in-ear monitor composed of two types of drivers: electrostatic and dynamic. It produces a sound that combines speed, transparency, and power, making the most of the strengths of each driver through carefully calibrated settings. It faithfully reproduces the emotions conveyed by the music.


Seeking Exceptional Linearity

For the high-frequency range, an innovative electrostatic tweeter unit has been adopted, designed to operate effectively in a completely sealed space. Its unique characteristics, including exceptional linearity and a peak-free response, allow for excellent sound clarity and a smooth, transparent representation. To achieve a similar level of linearity as the electrostatic tweeter, two Foster Electric 9mm dynamic drivers are positioned in series, introducing an "inline dual dynamic driver" configuration. This setup creates outstanding linearity and a tight, clear sound space even within the limited sealed enclosure.


Highly Linear Electrostatic Tweeter Unit

On the high-frequency side, an innovative electrostatic tweeter unit, designed to operate effectively in a completely sealed space, has been adopted. Its exceptional linearity and peak-free characteristics, unique to electrostatic technology, enable excellent sound clarity and a smooth, transparent representation. Additionally, the inclusion of a step-up transformer in the unit allows it to function as an electrostatic type without the need for external driver units. You can connect it directly to your player's headphone jack, just like conventional earphones.


FitEar's Proprietary "Short-Leg" Shell

The "Short-Leg Shell," introduced with the FitEar Air in 2015, is FitEar's proprietary design that minimizes changes in air pressure by expanding the air volume within the ear canal. It doesn't require the setting of a "vent" to release pressure outward, allowing for the maintenance of a high level of airtightness unique to custom-fit earphones while enabling the use of dynamic drivers. Additionally, the short tips of the shell make it easy to insert and remove, providing a comfortable wearing experience.
