An Evolved Hybrid Sound
Introduced in October 2015, "FitEar Air" marked FitEar's debut into the world of hybrid custom in-ear monitors. It featured a collaboration between a robust 9mm dynamic driver, known for its excellent frequency characteristics and supplied by Fostex Corporation, and a balanced armature driver carefully tuned to preserve its strengths. This combination resulted in a sound that embodied both power and freshness, earning it high praise from many users.

"Short-Leg Shell" for Use in Various Environments
In a sealed ear canal, there can be operational restrictions on the diaphragm of a dynamic driver due to changes in air pressure. Therefore, when using a dynamic driver in a custom shell, ventilation holes, commonly referred to as "vents," are usually required to mitigate changes in air pressure. However, depending on the environment in which they are used, such as noisy surroundings, these vents can become a cause of problems, including external noise intrusion, sound leakage, and changes in sound quality.
The "Short-Leg Shell" is designed with a shorter portion that fits into the ear canal compared to traditional custom in-ear monitors. This design increases the air volume within the ear canal, minimizing changes in air pressure and eliminating operational restrictions on the diaphragm. It maintains excellent sound isolation and allows the use of a dynamic driver without being affected by the surrounding environment, regardless of the conditions in which it is used.
